Tc & pc- how many had their official discussion of elimination today?

Still no official "talk". I've decided to move on after 25 years. Tough decision, but this new PL doesn't seem as associate centered . Good Luck to those who choose to venture into this new era!
I feel they are expecting way more out of a person for this new position. What are we getting in return? I read that the interview was going to be rigorous. Seriously? They act like this position is "coveted" and everyone wants it.
@Z9XWihI-1xgd. I trust my Store manager also. However, I wonder what MM & MHRM are going to try to have up their sleeves.
No “official” talk yet. Is anyone else still undecided?? I keep changing my mind. My TC already took another spot and I’m overwhelmed. I prob spend 80% of my day putting out fires and fixing management mistakes. Only wanna stay to help the associates and to possibly finish my degree. But I have a feeling this new PL role will not be pro-associate and will be so overworked that being successful at both work and college will be nearly impossible. My indecisiveness about the position is based mostly on this. Am I just being negative or simply being a realist? Idfk
We got the official talk today. We aren't required to stay until August 2 to get our severence, we only have to stay until the new People Lead has started. At least we don't have to train them.
The new people lead position, rotates to mornings, evenings, and weekends.
So if you actually think about it, this assessment can work in your favor. All associates wanting to apply for this position has to pass this readiness to be interviewed. Is this a little more security for us so others inside the company may not qualify? I sure hope so. My manager is a know it all and actually is very intelligent I trust him in what he told everyone ary out store when this position came open, this n position maybe open pool where everyone can apply but before anyone at our store would get it 1 if these girls will def. Get this position in our store. He was more or less saying for others interested don't bother u won't be put in the pool.
No I am not kidding. It is the same assessment that they give for an associate that is trying to become an assistant manager. They grade you 1 through 5 on customer service, knowing your business, community involvement, sales, etc. There's about 10 different categories. Then they must give your strengths and weaknesses. This is the first part of even qualifying you for the interview. Once you qualify for this I understand there are several VR assessments that we will have to do. I did well on the readiness assessment. To be honest I feel a little beat v down with worry and I feel uncomfortable that we maybe doing all if v this for nothing. Good luck to everyone

Are you serious? We are over qualified for these People Lead positions. What an insult to our intelligence to do a readiness assessment on us. You have got to be kidding me?
Your store manager has to do a readiness assessment on u. You have to have so many points to pass. My manager showed mmt what he actually gave me
What assessment? The SEA for supervisor positions?
We had our talking points today. Well we knew it was coming. I don't know, was it better than being blindsided? I think for me it was better or else I would now be in full panic mode. Actually I have been in panic since 1/31. I wish everyone the best.
