“Getting laid off at STT is the equivalent of finding a spot on a lifeboat of the Titanic. Wish I could get a package and say goodbye to this place.” That is absolutely priceless. This is exactly how I felt when I wasn’t laid off at SSGA after a decade and a half. And best part - you get to get off with all your unvested deferred luggage. Thank you very much. As long as that vampire squid Lori H and her crew of boot lickers run the show, the place will keep spiraling down the toilet. Flush.
It tells you how many days ago a post was made.
Ron H - I agree. Is this post from January 2019 or April 2019? A date and time stamp would be appreciated. Makes a big difference. Also, I think there are people that don't work at State Street that comment on these posts.

Why doesn't this sh!tty website include time / date stamps on posts and can any of the contributors to this thread speak English? Many more SVP layoffs between now and June 2019. But who cares. At least JC has gone!!
@Post ID: @YoRNYdm-5duo I remember when an old timer was a person who was there 15++ years.
Now a person who has been there 5 years is consider an old timer, 10 years your ancient

3 managing directors
3 vice president
What groups got hit?
You can contact HR and volunteer to accept a severance package as long as your dept is looking to make cuts. I had someone in my dept take the severance package voluntarily.
I can confirm layoffs occurred at SSGA.
Why can’t you name names on an anonymous message board?
Can’t mention names but 3 of them were managing directors
Just keep being yourself and you will be laid off
Is there a way to volunteer to get laid off?
I don’t believe you,,, Give us a single name of someone you know who got laid off from SSGA.
Finally some of the real problems got their just reward. Couldn’t have happen to more deserving people.
In Boston too 🤗
