I have put down my papers. For me there is no looking back. Feel sad looking at the state of affairs there. Upper management has no clue what's going on at the ground level. Complete cut off. No one to address concerns, all HR practices are twisted and compromised. Few set of people are busy promoting each other in regardless of any business outcome and do get promoted. Very arrogant bunch of people. Know-it-all attitude, but can't deliver anything. Lot of lies during communication at each and every level whereas the reality is completely different. It has all the signs of a failed management....but no one to step up because you need strength of character for that. There is a reason why Juniper has defined a set of values in "juniper way", but in contrail it seems like it is "contrail way"... I worked for a very incompetent person whose only aim is to blame others for his fault and attend meetings with higher set of people to get highlighted and to get promoted. I rest my case.

@Yigk8HC-1bvv There's a thread on another board that say many really good people have already left Contrail. If talent can't "buy in" to the promise of the product/company and leave, how long can you keep their successors?
And when there are replacement hires, the ability to improve upon your successors will likely be realistically not possible. Additionally, the new hire needs the time necessary to adapt, which will be at least a year plus, and by then marching competitor technology has already moved on and moved up the field.
It's dire....Attrition and replacement schemes are usually always a 3+ step backward result.
There are lots of new hires in contrail management. They knows how to talk. Zero product knowledge. They will be keep talking some old people are working hard in QA and Dev they knows thinks others are painting on ice block
When one reaches this decision, it's a huge release of stress. It's the literal release of gas from the balloon!
Now get to prepping and balling in the future! Believe in yourself! You will be successful! Good luck to you!!
