Exactly! God forbid they have Aerospace Specialists (Scientists/Engineer's) and Industrial Program Managers with experience. Looks like the old GE board under Jeff Emmelt.

Then became a governor of a southern state who promised a non-union workforce that could be trained to be as good or better than seasoned multi-generational legacy manufacturing workers & aircraft designers just because...she said so. Then along came the 737 MAX debacle.
Years later after a lack-luster showing as a token UN Ambassador who quit before even 2 years were up, gets a prominent job at the top of the same company those said promises were made to.
