Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

DXC might be underpaying you

I was laid off several months ago and every job offer I received since had a higher pay attached to it. And that's just the starting pay. This makes me think that DXC might be significantly underpaying its engineers.

In any case, being laid off turned out to be a blessing for me...

They are. I'm looking for a new job now and am literally about to improve my position by 50%. I have no idea how they will replace my role at the rate they are currently paying.

Until workers challenge the system, UNITED against their top management, they will keep being overrun by careless ruthless selfish oligarchs.

Until people challenge the system, UNITED against their leaders, they will be led by careless ruthless selfish politicians.

DXC is not underpaying JML and glorified steak cutter. Minions don't count or matter. You guys are a dime a dozen and that even at regular price, much cheaper at sale price. Now let me eat.

Signed,

Your Untruly and Ruler of Don't Xpect Compensation

Replace "might be" with "is." No raises or bonuses for 5+ years and constant churn to lower cost countries and younger employees has lowered the bar for DXC pay. Not to mention declining benefits with higher costs and mental health strain. You WILL get higher pay outside of DXC, you will probably get a bonus and a raise at some point, and you will get better benefits at a lower cost. Most importantly, you should join a company where you feel a part of the success and feel energized to come into work every day and do your job.
