http://fortune.com/2019/02/25/most-overpaid-ceos/

Earlier post have mentioned this but reposting - not good press for AIG and BD- A sudden change of heart on the 2019 layoff is BS just reputation damage control by some company plant they’ll continue when it settles down a bit and give people time to leave ... my guess

Brian will also get a STI as well as LTI and stock. No other Ins. Companies pay their CEO's that. Employees at other Ins. Companies also make much more than employees at AIG. There's not much to spread out to the employees doing the work when BD, Senior Management and Management are getting paid the salaries they get. That's why most employees don't ever get raises and get penalized on the STI's. I don't understand why management gets a STI and a LTI. What about the workers that aren't Managers. They should get a long term incentive as well. Not a fair and balanced playing field

IT already got bombed by layoffs. Once STI is paid you can expect some more voluntary departures. Anyone with minimal tenure would be nuts to stick around. I think we will have significant impacts to business operations from hits to IT.

Totally agree these layoffs aren't going anywhere this is just the company's way of making them more stealth and waiting to see how many people walk out on their own after STI so that they can adjust their rif numbers going forward the company doesn't care about employee morale. Guess all the evasive answers during Town Halls didn't go far to fool the employees.

statements like oh we need to make the hard decisions. do you think employees just got off a boat that you cant figure out what that means? now the company knows this doesn't work so now they're trying damage control and backpedaling which is a bigger insult to employees intelligence.

I agree. Just watch. Maybe March will be slower with RIF's but they will pick up again
