I work out of Dalton GA, I am mid level management. I have had to submit to HR in LR a 'hit list' of people I can 'do without'. So, a good guess that the layoff is coming. I had to give them 5 names, so I will be losing some good peeps very soon is my guess.

They failed to to talk about all the disconnects. They may have gained customers but the all of the disconnects off set the new. I would put money on the customers Will wanting to disconnect after they experience the horrible service. I watched all the did disconnects and cancellations. You can't promise a next day install and expect it to happen. The order flow alone takes forever. The multiple systems used takes to long and most are incorrect. I worked on it so I saw it first hand
Yep Investors lost, regular employees continue to lose, but Senior management seems to always win due to their endless greed. I am more concerned with continuing to support this unfair and biased system than I am of being laid off.

Sure, and the bankruptcy just 'happened' - they would have been just fine if they had won that case! I guess you love reading the lies on Stream. Adding customers probably won't stop the bleeding from the other groups losing money, it is too late for new subscribers to offset the ones leaving.

You lost more customers than you added. I guarantee you that. You can split the segments however you want. Your biggest Ilec customers are leaving.

Any customer who chooses you would be jepordizing their own career. Who would buy from the most outage ridden provider in the industry while in bankruptcy.

Don't know about you but I can't just quit. There is nothing in my rural area that pays as much as windstream. I am not moving and do not want to try to commute an hour each way for a job that probably won't pay as much. I am glad all these people can say leave now, they must live in a better job market or don't work at Windstream. Could also be upper management trying to get people to stay. I am going to stay until they lay me off. If TT is reading this site give me a buyout thats worth a sh-- or a good severance package. Take some of that big bonus you got and pass around to those of us that really could use it and actually keep the company going for your sorry a--.
