what youre saying is irrelevant, the petition was withdrawn. (besides, that employee was a pro-company puppet that is now working at Spectrum)

brooklyn about to ratify new contract Feb 12th. End of story.

@XpvsFXG-wpm

First off the petition was filed by an employee and not the company. Company filed petitions are listed as RM. This is RC. Which was filed on the 24th.

2nd in that decision it mentions the Union threatened lawsuits against employees trying to get sigs to decertify.

Why did you leave that bit out?

"So sad this site help us unite and now management tactics here is to make the site irrelevant with fake posts."

I have to agree with this statement.

Management been monitoring this website since 2016 during the Bronx union campaign. They only make posts with the intent to deceive, divide, mislead, and fear monger.

Side note: The mere fact that employees have to resort to an anonymous website to voice their discontent is one of the reasons why we all need to be unionized.

So sad this site help us unite and now management tactics here is to make the site irrelevant with fake posts. That's when you know they are desperate and losing the battle of at will employees. Stay United and keep inching forward from site to site until we stand united.

WTF are you talking about?

Everything needs to be questioned and no one is ridiculing anybody.

If you'd like to have a collective voice about your future employment, vote YES

If you'd like being an AT-WILL employee and have absolutely no security of your employment, vote NO.

Don’t question the union leadership, or you’ll be ridiculed! Sounds like a group I’d like to be a part of!

THERE WILL BE NO DECERTIFICATION

The Petition was withdrawn. If you had read the NLRB decision, you'd understand how and why this came to be. I'll give an easy to follow chronology of events:

  • 2014 Brooklyn unit unhappy that Dolan refuse to negotiate contract.

  • 2014 In an effort to bust the union, management convinces unnamed dispatcher to gather signatures for a decertification election which was eventually filed.

  • 2014 NLRB says no to petition because of the numerous ULP charges pending against the company.

  • 2014 Cablevision appeals NLRB decision.

  • 2015 Dolan reluctantly bargains contract for Brooklyn.

  • 2016 6 months later Dolan sells to Altice.

  • 2018 After years of meaningless litigation, NLRB finally decides to grant the employees the right to have a decert election.

  • 2019 Altice, wisely withdraws the petition because they know dámn well that Brooklyn ain't voting out their union.
