And I don't just mean their customers!
Sales are much worse than last year at this time and everyone is freaking out. The DMs are showing up all of the time now, driving everyone crazy and the Store Managers are screaming and stressing everyone out!
I would say more than half of our store plans to get out ASAP.
I can feel the final ending coming soon.
Corporate isn't even well aware of what's going on in their stores!
They're pretty stupid if they waste their time here!

Of course sales are worse. You can’t fire over 3000 ( a more accurate number than what was reported to the public. Fiscal year 2018, BN had approx 629 stores in the US.. Approx 5 positions in the stores were eliminated.Digital, Receiving, Newsstand, Bargain, Head Cashier.
If those 3000 , their families and their friends stop spending money there, they’re going to feel it.
Add the significantly worse customer service ( just read the Cust posts on BN’s FB page) by dumping your experienced, knowledgeable employees and understaffing your store. That’s how the company is responsible for their low sales. No one to blame but themselves. Good riddance.
