Or the beginning of the end.
27% drop is nothin - CBI used to drop 30% multiple times a year. Don’t fool yourselves either - this is CBI all over again. Buying projects with no understanding how to execute.

Past experience, management lies to you.
You are in the jungle and drinking the cool-aide (paycheck). I do not need your cool-aide because I know better.
I do not need someone telling me I can wear jeans on Friday. I am a grown person that is able to make decisions. I sure do not need Ms. Piggy on my side.
Your mgmt talks to you?!? That’s an improvement. Be proud!
Hmm, we were just subjected to another town hall. They could have simply replayed the one they gave 6 months ago. Same old nuthing. Absolutely zero changes since last meeting except far fewer actual employees.
"I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it, people like me."
How does the ole saying go?
How can you fly like an eagle when you are surround by a bunch of buzzards.
Golden rule: Do unto others as you have them do unto you.

@XDwXtxK-6zfc - "If you heard that many times - your probably used to being cut"
LOl....guess again, not even once.
If you heard that many times - your probably used to being cut
@XDwXtxK-6xkh - To add, something I have heard many times in my career - "Be a part of the solution, not a part of the problem"
Want to succeed? Be a leader not a follower. Just because other companies operate this way does not mean you have too. That is no excuse.
Two more work days. Be kind and gentle to each other. Support each other emotionally. It's going to be rough.
There's incompetence. And then there's McDermott. We are on a whole nother level. "Keep doing your jobs." None of it will matter soon.
All our competitors are driven by overheads, chargeability, stretch budgets, and unrealistic expectations too. Incompetence isnt exclusive to here...keep cashing your paychecks and do your job.
Overheads did not run over engineers till CB&I started poking nose into the business they did not even understand. Yes there is an obnoxious aunty in HR who is a real pain.
Finally signs of intelligence, why do you keep bring up Lummus?
I watched Phil A. and Lummus destroy a good company, CB&I. Lummus is disrespectful of their engineers and have managers that do not know what they are doing. They are noting more than a Project Management and Purchasing company. They let the overhead run over their engineers, if you want to call them that. Lummus is a disgrace to the engineering profession. That is why.
I am beginning to believe that MDR already knew that they were going directly to the bankrupt and then decided to buy CB&I to have someone to blame when the end gets closer.
Lummus never was a EPC, they were a technology company with a purchasing and construction company. Have you ever seen their engineers on the PC side? Leads daughters and buddies. Real engineers will not put up with their project managers and purchasing people. They know better.
Should find out more about a company before you buy it. A fool and their money soon part.
Nobody in the building cares if it’s anonymous or not.
Last two were what everyone knows to be true! Hope you have a good month.
