Being laid off in March is just as bad as February.......
I was laid off last year on a Friday in February, so it can happen any day. The group I was in was run by non Americans. I was one of the few non Indian engineer there, so they stick to their own. But getting laid off was a blessing. I found another job and now work with Americans who speak English! Don't worry. Job market is very good now.
For those who can’t do math, the reason the people that were laid off were let go was income based. One RSD was # 2 for sales excellence and was a 20+ year associate. The reason that person was let go was salary and total compensation related. So F SD and his bottom 20% b---s---. He is a flat out liar, just like the people he replaced.
OT: last word, first TD in OT, game over.
Haahahahahahaha.
Last word for the win!
"with so many layoffs supposedly happening. Anyone can shed light on who and numbers of the carnage??"
Nobody said only February. And who said I'm a man?
Here, if you want the last word... take it, I'm done wasting time.
Be a man and come back here and admit you were wrong when we don't lay off 20% in Feb.
JL and SD very well did say that. 'Operating cost reductions of X which is about 20% of resources' and it was multiple times.
What does 'don't be on the bottom 20%' elude to. Raises? Tropical vacations? Surprise bonuses and free homes?
BS...SD said don't be in the bottom 20%. Never said anything about laying off 20%.
20% according to JL and SD.
Very quiet lately with so many layoffs supposedly happening. Anyone can shed light on who and numbers of the carnage??
What a great place to work huh?
Nothing like this ongoing stress to make everyone sick.
Time to look outside the doors of this hell hole.
The layoffs have already begun. Understand the RSD for Managed Print was shown the door in the NYC area the other day. More to come. Remaining monkeys will run the show.
It’s gonna be cold, it’s gonna be grey, and it’s gonna last you for the rest of your life.
The layoffs should occur on Saturday Feb 2 , Groundhog Day. Because the layoffs keep happening again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again .
And again .
The end .
Narrator: “yes, Staples has done layoffs on Fridays”.
I know some companies do use the Friday layoff strategy, but Staples has never done big layoffs on Fridays.
@X90NM7R-qoq Friday is not day one of the new Fiscal Year. 2/4 is. Also, layoffs are most often on Fridays to give people the weekend to cool down rather than the chance to go into the office the next day and go postal.
I doubt it, layoffs are never done on Fridays and they would do them before the new fiscal year not day one of it.
The reliability of this fine website is without reproach. we've had dozens of these predictions in the past and each and every one of them has come true. We are all doomed. /s
