Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Looks like Resideo stopped WFH

Email went out yesterday stating no WFH. Gave the same line of c-ap if you need to for an emergency one off work with your manager but we collaborate in offices. Also, said if you had arraignment it will stay in place...that's great but all WFH was already stopped and Honeywell said the same thing before they told everyone they were cancelling all previous arrangements because you job required collaboration in an office. It was the same exact email HON sent like two years ago.....

I am with the new Resideo and many of us were just told to report into an office and that WFH is only a once in while thing and needs to be coordinated with our manager. When I asked why this was not being done in other groups we were told we were among the first but its being pushed company wide over the next few months. I had a prior arrangement for WFH but was told that no longer applies and is being looked at on a case by case basis. We need to "collaborate" in a "hub" location. Guess its time to look outside....

I am back in and office. We lost 43 "Field Workers SDE/FQE and a manager who left for Collins. We have lost so much good talent. Seems like one guy is bent on Destroying Honeywell.

That’s not actually what happened. HON had zero WFH at all and some in Aero are actually being RIFed for doing it. There was no tolerance for it. REZI is going back to the old approach where an employee can just work with their manager when they need to

WFH, which is what most companies do. And then are plenty of remote workers within REZI whose office is their home. So it’s not at all the HON policy.
