I think by not advertising some great deals it is only putting sears/Kmart further back in memory of people
I personally am not going to drive 25 miles to the closest Kmart although I miss shopping there. They closed the 4 that were closer to me when they shd have kept one of them open regardless if they were profitable because of their location..
All 504 of the remaining stores can’t be profitable because my sears store hasn’t made a profit or even goal in a long time
25 miles is the closest Kmart for you? Wow you are lucky. SHC has decided to abandon the Portland, Oregon market completely with the closing of of last Kmart and sears. Now if I would like to go to a go-forward Kmart I need to drive 70 miles one way and 100 miles one way for a Sears. Just last year we had 4-5 kmarts and 4 sears stores within a quick drive.
@azi 'Members' won't be feeling like doing much social media marketing for Sears anymore since the SYW prize budget has been decimated.

Got an email from corporate that included a new sears tv commercial. So there is one but who knows how often it runs
Social media by associates is the marketing budget!
Sears would rather spend millions on bonuses for their executives....rewarding them for poor performance.
