A potential hit for Intel -AWS deploys Arm chips more widely

Energy-efficient processors based on the Arm architecture could be more widely deployed after Amazon Web Services' introduction of Arm-based cloud-computing resources for developers this week.

Think that this can cause a lot of problems. This segment is a big revenue-producer and it would be disastrous if Intel took a big hit here.

@2wyx - I stand corrected. They seem to actually ONLY use 'Arm'. I don't understand it since it really is an acronym, but it's their marketing and branding, so that's what we'll go with. You were right.

Jeff Bezos, on the other hand, would never allow 'Aws'.

Before appointing yourself the acronym police you should realize the "ARM," "Arm," and "arm" are all used frequently by the company itself. If you want more proof just look at the company's own website. Then consider switching to decaf and get a life.

It's ARM, not Arm. Kinda like it's AWS, not Aws.

Know your acronyms, folks.
