Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Let's not show up to work December 1st.

Let's all not show up to work December 1st. Why are top executives giving themselves bonuses aren't they the one that destroyed Sears and sold off their assets. While associates working in the store are being over worked with no recognition or any raises. Its ridiculous how much we do for so little. I say let's spread the word on social media, let'sh-- them where it hurts. We are most likely going to close so let's go fighting. It's sad to see Sears where it end up as. Both Sears and Roebuck would be very disappoint to see where their company come to be.

Personally I think it's irrational not to be a little bitter, dismayed, disappointed and plain old unhappy about the structure of many corporations, not only SHC.

The workers who make the lowest wages should make a LIVABLE wage. There shouldn't be worry about food, shelter, health insurance, basic needs being covered. It is doable but those are the top are very greedy and take much more than they could ever need.

Before someone starts with they earned it, they deserve it. It's never true. The worker bees always bring them there and basic good conscience should prohibit endlessly lining your pocket.

OP, you seem bitter. Are you bitter because you "do so much for so little?" Because your manager doesn't "work" as hard as you? Because "top executives" get bonuses and make more than you?

Your wanting to drum up a mass "callout" better explains your track record of making bad life choices. Don't be bitter because a company is doing you wrong or a superior makes more than you or does less than you. Leave the company and do better for yourself and stop trying to get back at them. Make better choices and don't blame others for your situation. You calling out will do nothing to hurt Sears, it only makes you look bad to the next employer.

"Let's not show up for work on Thanksgiving"

"Let's not show up for work on Black Friday"

"Let's not show up for work on December 1st"

Go ahead and stay home. Sears is still operating and will continue to operate until they run out of cash.

Go ahead and stay home. The sun will still rise, the birds will still chirp, and you’ll still be an insignificant loser. This is the way the world works; the wealthy few exploit the many poor.
