I work at HE and have been searching for information on exactly what the status is for Sears. Is the court/Sears committee still reviewing the bid? I thought a decision was supposed to be made yesterday by 4:00.

@ifjk you're delusional if you think any of this farce is real. Eddie is going to be qualified by Sears. Who do you think owns Sears in every way that matters? The only reason he's even keeping up appearances is so regulators watching can confirm it was an arms length transaction. Eddie knows exactly how much he's willing to pay, and how much he wants to sell every bit of Sears for, and if it happens at the auction or at some later date, it's all the same to him so long as he gets rid of the debt.
@kie The situation right now is that the company might not even allow Eddie's bid to be considered 'qualified', if he doesn't improve it before they start an actual auction. Huge corporate auctions are more convoluted than eBay auctions, they want bidders to prove their worth before making them an official bidder.

You don’t work at HE or you would have read the company wide email Friday (now quick, post that you were on vacation Friday) and you would know that it’s business as usual.
