It feels like ship, but with a 't'. Global/XBS Core here, too and this has been awful. We've been under Global for years and things were pretty decent. Then Xerox got (more) involved and everything is crashing. We're closing most of our locations (65%). Benefits went to c-ap. 401K took a nosedive. Things aren't going to get better. We're seeing the beginning of the end.

I've been with this company a long time and it's been a great company, even under Global. It's really sad to watch all this unfold.

It feels terrible, actually. Our core used to be great, but the Xerox beauracracy keeps giving us substandard products and expects us to be QA. Bonuses delayed (indefinitely?), benefits slashed, positions not being filled, sales getting commissions reduced... and I feel for the people who were sacrificed by Johnny V and Icahn to make the Xerox carcass look plump.

I find it absolutely comedic that we are going to become a tech powerhouse. DocuShare is a turd, Alta/Versa are better than previous generations, but still buggy. ConnectKey 2 devices are a joke... 5 minute boot times? And the internal support provided to the cores was garbage for anything. A tech powerhouse with an abysmal support model, innovative!

Good luck folks, protect yourselves. I hope all of you move on to greener grass.

Most of the old GIS employees are going to be consolidated or outsourced. It's the arrogance of the dimwits at Xerox that have wrecked everything that they touch that is the cause of this. If anything they should have let the GIS companies absorb the Xerox supported functions. It's a sad state of affairs - this won't have a happy ending for the worker bees. It never does.

All to pay rosy executive and manager packages.

I’ve never met a larger group of entitled, angry, talentless, Xerox management nitwits in my entire life.

Don’t feel bad for GIS. The company handed them Directs accounts, after an entirely different team secured the accounts, supported the accounts, and gave their blood sweat and tears. Should GIS not like Xerox policies, then I say Karma is a B&$*h.

The whole Feb announcement is a sham. Every year for the past five there has been an announcement orchestrated to retain employees. A slim enthusiastically advertised hope which means absolutely nothing to the person on the front line. What a joke.
