Good luck with that! They want long term gone! They don’t want to pay you or anyone else more. Not sure how long you been with WM but they having been taking from employees for years now. See the trend? Time to go!
Agree, Walmart starting pay is fine where it's at. It's the ceiling that's the problem. I've been maxed out for years. It's complete BS to raise starting pay like they did a few years ago, and not give an equivalent raise to CURRENT employees.
Walmart raised the floor, but not the ceiling. I've been maxed out for 2 years.
I doubt much will change even with all associates calling the home office.
It is true that Walmart starts out at $11 an hour and you don't have to complete your CBLs to get it. Of course you may be in another part of the world/country that just has not changed yet. You need to check with your MHRM. This took place just the first part of this year, 2018 in our area, south east state United States. I am an hourly with 3 decade years. Seen alot happen but this is true.
