Thread regarding CA Technologies (CA Inc.) layoffs

Security BU - basically gone already

Payment Security, good product, never really part of the Security BU. sold to highest bidder.

Privileged Access Management, a wannabe product, sold to Cyberark

Single Signon, sent to India team to die for real

Identity products, no leaders here, sold for sc-ap

Top Security BU management? asked to leave, nothing of substance here

Technical Teams? Part of Burlington is a keeper and Lysle is a keeper; other than that, forget it!

@VriB140-1hmi is 100% correct. Security is becoming the core of the ES franchise (mainframe is the other) together with identity, API and some of the agile ops products (basically anything with a security BU integration or jointly marketed). BU leadership from these groups (mostly at the VP, some SVP level, nothing above) that opted to stay will run this ex-CA franchise. Numbers, names and lists already inked.

“But venomous blood flowing with leader....To save their a-- they won't reveal anything”

This is almost as awesome as BikeBoy. It sounds like a Klingon phrase if I’m not mistaken.

I don't know my fate yet. Was told by a VP my position is "low risk". However, I don't trust our management team even a little. Have caught them lying too many times...

Earlier last week itc vp called all directors and useless managers over closed room...And ask them to take ic role...Most of the useless manager accepted only few credible people rejected....15 th october is probably the day in itc when we will give product kt to managers

Employees who are being retained temporarily already know their fate. Retained employees will be working during 1 year transition. The incentive will be 50% plus their salary on a monthly basis and then will be laid off.

If you still do not know, you most likely will know in the week of October 15.

Seriously. If there was a contest for the stupidest post on this site, this one would win it hands down.

PAM and SSO being sold off? PAM and SSO have the highest profit margins and quickest win rates of any CA security product. They are the foot in the door for Broadcom customers being introduced to CA products. SSO/Siteminder is as "sticky" as it gets and it's already embedded in most customer networks. This is Hock's wet dream.

The "Top Security BU Management" asked to leave? Funny as they will be running what's left of CA under Broadcom. Its already in ink.

Security BU "basically gone"?? LOL. Security and Mainframe will be all that is left of CA under Broadcom. Gone? Then why is security the only BU currently bringing additional people ON for the acquisition?

Literally. Seriously. LOL.

Ironic that you call yourself "therealfacts" as everything you said here is the complete opposite of "fact". You are either purposely trying to stir c-ap up, or the people feeding you your information are betting each other on who can tell you the biggest lie while you nod your head in agreement drooling to come here and post.

At this point, everything is possible. Who would knew that CA would be acquired by Broadcom?

Finally, a company that practices what they preach. Good on Broadcom for skinning off the fat, good bye bloated BUs and products that never amounted to anything!
