Needs to be fired!!

How is it that Russell Jokes still has a job after all the problems in Power. If it were any other person in that position, they would have been gone already. Maybe he knows enough dirty company secrets that they can't afford to let him go.

@1amw diversity of skin color, ethnicity, s-xual orientation etc., have no inherent value for any company. Diversity of ideas and thinking are what is valuable. Let’s get beyond these stupid superficial traits and into the meaningful. Promoting diversity of physical characteristics over merit is mind-numbingly stupid and counter-productive.

Stokes helps GE achieve its politically correct diverse leadership goal. Political correctness overrules true qualifications. A box has been checked. But reality will uncheck that box in the real world very soon.

I lost faith in GE when the leadership hired JI to be CEO. Too bad I did not sell when Jack was at the helm. I am not saying Jack was a great leader but he had walls street bamboozled

So few decision makers have left that he's certainly not getting rid of the bad ones. There has been no change in management culture. In an organization in desperate need of clarity, he's not putting clear decision makers in charge nor getting rid of those unable to handle risk.

Russell plays an active role in the Atlanta community. He is a member of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee, the Atlanta Committee for Progress, Usher’s New Look Board, the Atlanta Junior Achievement Executive Committee, and the board of The Commerce Club, Atlanta, GA. Russell graduated from Cleveland State University with a degree in finance and completed GE’s Financial Management Program.

He should focus on sorting out the mess he created.

As a US based company, GE has diversity targets for all manager and executive positions.

These targets outline how those from backgrounds considered diverse should be promoted over those with the perfect experience for a role.

GE has racial, global background, gender and s-xual orientation targets.

Please understand the need to be inclusive and diverse is set higher than the need to create short term profits as diversity impacts a company for a lifetime and profits may only be a short time impact.
