How sad is it that we consider nearly 100 jobs lost a small layoff that is irrelevant? (Which I am sure it especially is to people who lost their livelihood this week...)

Sad? Why? Grow up. Acquire skills that are relevant in today's job market and stop whining.

what is in your control : all those people who got fired from qualcomm, form your own company. Qualcomm will be laying off people for cost cutting. You can employ them. They are anyway trained in quaalcomm so culture would match too. This is what in your control.

@Vgzxuoo-cnj how stpid are you? Like that number is the only number. For the last 5 years there has been periodic layoffs and you think only a small number of employees have been affected? What planet are you from.
I know it may sound heartless, but for a company of our size, that really is a small number.
