@VO1lvHM-3cvp, I agree with you 100% on giving a rat to the company. In fact every large company must be treated that way if they have pathetic management chain. That way, there is a clear differentiation between work and personal life. The passion to work and deliver for a great company all stopped around 2007 after the insurgence of mid-management in a massive scale.

Yep. Same. I'll do enough to keep my job but not much more. Dont give a rats a-- about the quality or success of Q anymore beyond surviving to meet my paycheck. If Q collapses tomorrow I'll be fine so why should I give a sh-- about Q and their truly messed up org. They dont give a sh--; I'll be equally careless back.

Feel a bit sorry for the leagues of young engineers and the Manpower folks who are obviously being taken.

It isn't worth the effort. Not many will see your comments, and less will care, and none will help you. IMO, your best to approach your VP and hopefully strike a chat, say you're disappointed and ask what you can change for next time. Managers and directors can s--- really badly. Don't let it get you down, things in general s--- these days (years). You might be better off finding a new job, keep that in mind.

I'm a principle/manager, been a manager for more than a decade. I no longer care, am just doing my time for awhile longer. I am not resting, I do pull my weight still. I just don't care.

Sorry to hear that. Can you elaborate more what was the response? Trying to understand if it's kind of layoff with package or without.

I rejected my review and received an auto-reply with my exit date.

You can’t say anything that questions management unless you’re looking to be axed. Many managers have zero skill and they know it. It’s what leads to their need to micromanage and take credit for your work.

Reviews are a sham. You need to be from the right village to get good score.

Caucasians need not apply. Caucasian to the back of the bus.

I gave my manager an earful after I didn't get a promotion last time so I wasn't surprised to see my name in layoff list this April. I worked out well since I found a job rather quickly. My advice is don't tolerate bs.

I had a colleague in the PMIC VI group who did that and rejected his review rating. He got the axe last layoff period a few months ago, surprisingly NOT!

You'll incur the anger of your manager.

No change. HR is owned by VPs and managers. Don't expect HR can do something for employees side.

You need to initiate discussion on your own. HR won't care and won't setup meeting. Thisis there in AR18 website. After the meeting , the things would remain the same.
