PPA is a disaster, an absolute bad hire and will without a doubt take down what little is left of JNPR. He's been brining in all his Canadian cronies to run the show with shady backgrounds and questionable ethics. Change is needed in go-to-market but not at the expense of destroying JNPR. I also received a call from a journalist and shared all the details about PPA and his cast of characters. RR should not be allowed to hire people, the worst track record in hiring, what a joke. I've been here for a little over 8 years and this is the worst it's been. BOD needs to immediately step in and take action at the C-Suite. Make Juniper great again, empty the swamp!!!!

I heard that RR had to have a sit-down with PPA to let him know he needs to tone down his aggressiveness. However HR and RR are turning their face on the gross tax evasion games PPA is playing. Juniper has assumed this liability by turning a blind eye. Also the company is laying off lots of people however they are spending lots of money (+2 million) for PPA to have a WW SKO at the end of January. What a joke!
Considering everything that PPA does, perhaps its not a bad thing at all that he'd be doing it from Florida and not Sunnyvale!!
PPA is the best thing that ever happened to Juniper. Well, may be not ever, but for sure in recent times. It could only be topped by the other great RR decision, Mike Marcellin being appointed the CMO. Though PPA has a reputation for scamming his employers, such as submitting false expense reports at Avaya, and even tricking Rami to work remotely from Florida, he is an excellent leader. He will clean house in sales because all the good sales teams will leave on their own. Most teams have disbanded and some top sales teams have already left Juniper. PPA will also take care of his faithful followers by bringing in all his friends and cronies to roll his joints, cut his lines of coke, and order h--kers off the internet.
Kudos to Rami for picking these top notch scumbags to lead sales and marketing.

Plus, so far he seems to be a pretty lousy leader. Ask people in go-to-market how much communication there has been from him. A spiff for sales people, but excludes my se's? That's sure going to boost morale in the se team.
How would RR let PPA work from Florida, when he hired him to be in Sunnyvale? Juniper must have been desperate to accept a man with this much baggage and let him run amuck - he has brought in his cronies, taken off inordinate amounts of vacation, is not affecting positive sales results, now worksfrom Florida plus the stuff mentioned in the post! Geez!
RR has no idea what he's getting Juniper into, so its normal by his standards to not know who he's hiring.

This isn't a surprise at all! PPA has changed at all from Avaya and keeps on playing the same game. What's horrible is that RR should have done a background check on PPA. I dropped my jaw when they hired him! He is even likely to get RR fired with his gross negligent behavior. RR has NO IDEA what he has gotten himself into!

Update on PPA ladies and gentlemen, word on the street is PPA the new WW sales leader is under investigation, major ethics and HR violations, discrimination, anti semitic comments, lying, tax fraud and not following HR governance rules. Same behavior from his time at Avaya and CheckPoint, fraud with expense reports and income tax. PPA has been scared %hitless because he owns a home and primary lives in CA and claims he's a FLA resident to avoid paying state income tax, what a joke. He's been spending a lot more time recently in FLA because he's been spooked and RR spoke to him about this among other things too. Sounds like he maybe booted by early next year. C-suite door continues to revolve. PPA has been waisting everyones time and frustrating his peers in the c-suite, way to go RR awesome hiring skills. SOS BOD time for a cleanup to save what is left of JNPR and stop the good SEs from jumping ship. TIC TOC - TIC TOC - TIC - TOC. Help make JNPR great again!
How can he get away with bring in a whole clown car of people, in some cases to replace people who were let go due to “the reorganization”? He’s putting the new people in the same position!
Well he hired the last HR leader too - she was a nightmare so 0 for 3! Let’s just say spotting talent is a weakness for RR. Wonder what tectonic shift ML has in mind...jury is out on him too...
Hearing the new HR CHRO is a bad hire as well. HR turnover is coming. Another bad CHRO hire - RR is on a roll with 0 for 2!
It's amazing how someone can rebound! I know directly from a very senior person in Finance at Avaya how PPA had tried to expense a hunting trip he had with his son. The Avaya CFO at the time strongly pushed back while the CEO (KK) at the time tried to push the CFO to look the other way. True Story!
It wasn't a surprise when PPA left Avaya.
You can imagine how PPA will bring that same tender loving care to Juniper! RR really knows how to pick em!

Hmm this thread seems like a little sour grapes. And that’s even relative to the other threads that pop up here, many of which really are sour grapes.
That poor css chap was not so poor he was bringing his own cronies :) ..they are all the same
PP is lacking empathy and not respecting all the great men and women that have poured their hearts and souls into JNPR for many years. he has no regard for human decency and has one objective, bring in all his buddies to work with him. it very apparent it's just a matter of time before he creates lots of lawsuits and either RR or the BOD gives him the boot.

You are too kind. Disaster and bad hire is an understatement. A talk with his former coworkers will tell you what an absolute horrible hire this is. It seems that he surprised and totally shafted the poor CSS SVP chap, coz he wants to get his cronies.
