What were your morning meetings / member rallies like today with the news of the impending bankruptcy?

In my store I heard the SM basically was drinking his koolaid that everything will be fine LOL. Sure it is when we finally file for Chapter 11/7 pretty soon. Clock is ticking that payment is due hot this Monday and it doesn't seem Lampert is opening is check book longer along with the stock in an all time low.
We haven't had a morning rally meeting in months.
Nobody said sh!t because no one knows sh!t. Logged into con call...same routine today. Why did you miss PAs, recaps and APO.. no talk at all of BK
Store level management probably got emails and conference calls from District and Regional instructing them not to discuss the bankruptcy matter with store associates.
They are in the same boat as you. And its got a giant hole and the lifeboats are gone. Everyone's been screaming "WATCH OUT" for months but no one listened.
If you were in a management position you wouldn't say sh-- either. Managers dont know sh-- anyway. Hell, DMs probably dont know. Just the very top has any idea.

Of course the management won’t discuss it.. just carry on as if everything is okee dokee

@VAHBQlm-pdh Probably because either there is nothing really to add or that they were told by upper management to keep quiet.
