Thread regarding Staples Inc. layoffs

SBA Employees No Commision

Push employees to the brink and then not pay them? On what planet is this acceptable? Sandy, when will you step in? Good people, hard workers not being able to support their families. Shame on you Staples.

@V2X0XaS-6ejb No NDAs that I know of. The reason for silence might be how much of a clusterf--k this GTM strategy has been to implement. Analogies of building a plane as it is in the air or building a ship that's already been set out in the water have been common to hear from leadership.

What updates would you be interested in? Keep in mind that all sales positions are on a bridge during the pilot and information on results are being held close to the chest by management.

Did the sales rep in the mountain west sign a NDA? I heard they did and that is why we are not seeing any updates.

post from another topic fits right into this -

"Have you been watching the presentations and updates on the Staples 2.0 GTM strategy? A huge part of the transition is reducing the size of the outside sales force as inside teams can reach more people than outside reps. The game plan is to increase the volume of customer contact and save an outside presence for the most complex customers who need to have a visible rep presence"

Say goodbye to the vast majority of you assigned accounts!

Wait till 2.0 hits! Can you say hello to a commission only type income? Here it comes!

Books being pulled inside, account territories strictly enforced, books of business cut to the bone for outside Salesforce.

Its going to be a huge cluster that only few folks can live with.

There are way better companies to work with - Staples/Sycamore is not one of them.

Hey, anyone know some dumb, naive, just out of college folks that want to start at 35K per year? Apply today at Staples Business Advantage - the future IS NOT bright!
