It seems like Intel has two teams working on two different versions of 5G.
No wonder Intel doesn't have any progress to show on 5G compared to the rest of the industry.
ex QC guys aren't that great. Go ask 'em how their lake project is going.

Keep on thinking that asians are less productive. There are growing pains with every shift of assignment (especially if the assignment is shifted from people who are resentful and have a superiority complex). Asians will overcome all the hurdles because they are resourceful.
Your statements about 5G and progress of ex QC guys show your level of cluelessness. It just shows that when things will change you will be caught off guard.

Spending got out of control when people / teams were laid off and non-technical managers decided to shift around assignments around the globe to clueless Asians that are cheaper but less productive for sure.
5G will be a longer involvement. First time right? Ex QC guys doing miracles? Something working in the lab vs something working in the field are completely different things.
