Thread regarding Open Text Corp. layoffs

More layoffs

More layoffs have been announced as part of OpenText's semi-annual RIF. The management team, especially the CEO, in incapable of making any cuts to costs that are not headcount related. Worst management team on the planet. No talent what's so ever. Everyone should dust off their resume. There is no loyalty to employees.

Heard that many offices are being consolidated into only a few. Former acquisition and virtual staff are the most vulnerable under the reorg. Other changes include merit increases being deferring until the new year, removing of the work from home privileges. A lot of changes for the worse for a company that states as one of it's core values that it wants to be "The Best Place To Work"

Any additional details on what groups are getting the axe, office locations or geographical locations, etc.?

On another note, I heard through the grapevine that the travel ban that seems to have been in place for years is being extended even further so the only travel that will be approved for reimbursement will be if it's to get in front of a customer. That means, team meetings, quarterly business reviews, etc. are a no go until further notice. Except ELT I'm sure will be able to continue to fly around the world and none of this will apply to them.
