Some people think if their company goes bankrupt, they lose their pension," he says. But traditional defined-benefit pension plans are protected by ERISA (Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974). ... Don't confuse your company's finances with those of its pension plan. They are entirely separate.

though I'm sure someone will chime in with a Union comment

Fidelity and Financial engine are my contacts regarding Cablevision 401K and cash balance pension plan. You should receive a statement quarterly from them. They have been handling my account from quite sometime.

Fidelity clearly has many techs listed as AUSA employees

ATS techs are not employees of AUSA. ATS techs are employees of ATS. ATS was previously underneath Altice NV which was the European base for Altice. But with tanking stock over there and losing tons of sub on the reg, many thought ATS was repositioned under Altice USA to lessen expenditures on the European side so it looks better on paper. Also, don’t forget about Trump’s new tax breaks for businesses. Putting ATS under Altice USA shows more employees and expenditures on the American side which would create potential for higher tax breaks. Unlike all of these other companies that gave bonuses out in response to the new tax laws, ATS

employees will most likely not be reaping any of those benniez.

There's a bunch of people in the same boat. Here's my issue. How is it my check and W2 come from ATS but I'm supposedly an employee of AUSA. From what I've heard, since we're owned by USA, we are supposedly employees of them since ATS is a subsidiary. Not gonna lie. Makes no sense to me.
