@TewDV9C-5yeq get a life mate. You are finger pointing to a specific person over and over again, sounds like a personal grudge to me, get over it and do something better with your life.

Any more news about this June's layoffs please? If so, please share. Ignore the troll - he is a rude, egotistically flatulent, toothless coward.

@TewDV9C-5cwb A troll has appeared since last week who is going around swearing at people on this forum, mocking them, calling them prostitutes etc. Colleagues in Amsterdam and EMEA has identified him as a "no-body who got promoted to Sr. Manager" last year from his English and some phrases he used here which he also apparently uses in his official email. He is out of a Juniper political group in Italy. Apparently he is as deranged as he sounds and suffers from delusional grandeur of world conquest. Got promoted because of his political clout and was going no-where in his "technical" role for almost 10 years. Hence "management".

This individual was going around naming people and posting useless threats. I'd imagine the admins in the site nuked all of those. same thing happened to some other postings in the other threads that he was trolling.

I saw a comment about weed being legal in Sunnyvale, California... that explains everything!

People complaining on this thread would be better off to either move on from Juniper if you are unhappy or put your best foot forward and try to help the company that is paying you. Juniper is a fair employer that treats people overall very well from what I've seen but if anyone is unhappy and not feeling part of that then by all means move on. You will be happier and Juniper will get the message in the areas that need to be improved.

Everyone, @TewDV9C-4tiz is the same troll who has been swearing at everyone in this forum and calling everyone a prostitute because their jobs are at stake at Juniper. He has already been identified in several postings out of colleagues in EMEA who know his writing pattern and foul, unhinged mindset. He virtually admitted that in a post which has now been deleted by admin due to the threatening nature of it. He is the perfect example of quality of people put in management in EMEA. Deranged.

@TewDV9C-3eow Well said! Hope they kick out the Sr. Managers in EMEA too - especially the ones who got promoted from no-body to man-management position without ANY experience because they were hanging from coat-tails of upper management. All these guys do to hide their incompetence is lie to their team-members, mismanage, try to manage by fear and worse, fudge numbers. One such, based out of Rome, even got caught last year on a team call lying about numbers. All these unhinged self-labelled "leaders" do is frustrate and demoralise everyone else.

Bad judgement by the C-suite, VPs, Directors, Managers and even individual contributors in many groups has led Juniper to the current state of disarray that will be hard to recover from, without a massive cleanup.

Layoffs and firings at all levels are inevitable to save the company. I cannot say who will and who will not survive (in marketing or otherwise), however I have no doubt I will not be alone in my disappointment when people who continue to cannibalize the once awesome company, survive another round at the hands of the corporate guillotine.

Dweebs are legal in Sunny California, and what consenting adults do, is their business. I would not say competent and Juniper marketing in the same sentence, unless it was to say there was none.

The rumor I heard was that LM was doing drugs(weed) with MM. Apparently, MM(CMO) loves the reefer! I also heard that MM has a girlfriend on the side but I'm not sure if that is LM. Apparently, MM has been cheating on his wife. In any case, it really doesn't matter because, among many others, MM and LM will most likely survive.

People like to hark on MB, DJW, LW, NW but there are so many more politicians who simply survive every layoff. As you have said, the competent employees in marketing are the ones who get pushed out at every layoff.

I did not reqllize Leslie Moore was disliked so much and that she carried with her the smell of Mike Marcellin's wiener breath. Well, I shouldn't be, because so does Donyel Jones Williams, Michael Bushong, Nancy Wientraub and a host of other No-Ops from Juniper marketing.

OMG, yes please clean out marketing. They don't have a clue. All the real marketers have left (or been thrown out) and only people that have come from PLM remain (including the CMO) that don't know anything about the fundamentals of marketing. Some tried to bring solid marketing into Juniper but they are long gone. Time for RR to clean house.

Confirmed from three sources now that layoff is coming. They are all working on identifying the people that will be affected. Some of those are volunteering to take a package.

Please begin in marketing starting with VPs who have all been recently promoted way above their abilities and leadership capabilities. Not just one bad apple but a whole bunch of them with terrible management and big egos. Start with the VP of PR, she has been called by many a "cancer" -- clueless, vindictive, two-faced etc. No one knows how she got promoted and in fact someone high in HR tried to stop it but she still got promoted again. Rumors started that she has something or did something with the CMO 'cause anyone in their right mind would have fired her a long time ago.

Better focus on performing, rather then searching for other job while being on Juniper pay.

Let us not get distracted by tracking IP addresses etc on an annonymous forum. If people want to be identified, they have the option to state their name. The freedom to publish your viewpoint without threatening anyone, or harming anyone, is a priviledge. Use it. Don't abuse it.

Having said that, the crap going on at Juniper in EMEA is no different from Sunnyvale. The company is in dire need of an overhaul from the top down, if it wants to reboot, reset and recover. The people suffer due to a few bad managers, directors, VPs etc who continue to make (ego driven, selfish) bad decisions. I have little hope that things will improve or change, and at this point a massive layoff is sadly inevitable.

So what does your point have to do with the price of tea in China? I think you are in the wrong forum!

If you are the guy who just responded in the "Layoffs Coming in June" thread, then I'm very concerned!

Hope they cut the worthless fat in EMEA. Unless they take a good hard look at quality of people who does nothing but politics and hang around coat-tails of management to get a grade up in EMEA, not only will the numbers suffer there as they have in recent times but seriously good people will continue to leave as they have done for the last one odd year - why would anyone with any professional self-respect work with people of this quality?!
