Nokia was a possibility as they are known for buying scrap companies but they went away.
One look at Juniper's culture will have Mussolini run for the hills. In EMEA the Management decided to promote people with 0 management experience from a sh!t-kicker to a Sr. Manager. Why you ask? Who knows?! These people do not know how to manage, how to communicate, suffer from their own insecurity and complex and mess up other professionals who are focused on delivering. Politics is the way for Juniper. You think Sunnyvale is bad? Come work in EMEA for a bit and interact with some colossal waste of space who refer to themselves as "leaders". You will need to carry a bucket because you WILL throw up!
This boat cannot sustain floating conditions for much longer and the fault lies with the management who does not seem to give a hoot for the company. They are too busy playing their political bingo and saving their own skin. Some people I met during my relatively short period in EMEA, won't be qualified to sell potatoes in a Shanghai street-market. What are they doing being hired and lo-and-behold being promoted at a so-called top-notch Tech giant at Silicon Valley?! Beats the hell out of me!
