Agreed, I think this rumor was just to get all of the employees worked up and create some drama. Why on earth would the DOE save this school at the last minute and after some schools had supposedly been notified?
If this closing news is not true, it has caused hysteria on some of the campuses for someone's amusement, rendering this site officially useless.
Who comes to the layoff site and posts who would know hen DOE got involved, only someone from legal I would think and not sure they would post here
convenient that the doe confirms they are stopping this action from happening. when they've never stepped in for closing schools before. it’s a precedent they would never set.
it feels like people were looking for a little drama to help replace the lack of june layoffs, so they created this rumor.
Confirmed
DOE has stepped in a paused this whole action
It will be pushed back a couple weeks
The information was taken off the official AI site, but if you go to Google history pages you can find it...
We though we were done and everyone just watched while we packed up here in Durham. Told officially a few minutes ago that we can't be confirmed "anything" and we all just went to the local Pub to wait for updates.
“The AI website was updated with the school closures last night, before any of the employees were notified...”
Where? I don’t see it on the site.
The AI website was updated with the school closures last night, before any of the employees were notified.... Call them by a different name, but it is still the same bunch of morons running the show.... C level people are all the same, cut from the same cloth, Snakes in Suits....
Sounds like doe just found out from anonymous source?
Not sure DoE stepped in for ITT and all the others that closed unexpectedly.
That makes no sense...so the same day they are making an announcement he DOE steps in??? So wait, before we do this let’s call the DOE and let them know..
Wonder if dept of ed can be sued?? If closed
They can’t just close school, student do matter.
How and why would the department of ed step in?
