Thread regarding Dream Center Education Holdings, LLC (DCEH) layoffs

Dream Center had one job to accomplish this week and they couldn't even get that right.

Makes one wonder if leadership (I use the term leader lightly) can't figure out how to properly coordinate closing schools then how are they fit to keep the other schools open. Hmmmm?

Believe the hype. It’s all done. We are closing.

Our meetings took place this week. I don’t recall us ever having layoffs during the meeting times but in the week before classes is when those affected are told.

In five years we have seen many closings and layoffs and have had similar schedules with each one. I would not think they would change it now while holding orientation for new students.

How can they run when they can't even close

I wonder if this is going to be dealt with in person next week instead of escorting people to their cars this week.

If it's really going to be teach out, they might choose to wait until each campus has their meetings. Ours is Tuesday. We have 3 separate meetings scheduled: all faculty, departmental, and all school.
