We cancelled our Cabelas card and stopped buying or ordering anything from Cabelas
Yes, the Bargain Caves have closed at Cabelas. SInce Bass Pro aquired Cabelas, they said it was losing them money so they decided to discontinue the Cabelas tradition. I verified this with company employees.
I was told today, that the bargain cave is being taken away! If they are taking it away in the largest store, then I would guess all of them are going!
Check the fall floormap, it has been downloaded. Your answer will be there. I know the status in my store.
So, after all the trash talk, are the Bargin Caves closing soon? I thought this is what the website is about, not for Sidney politics. A vast, vast majority of us who check the site for information could give 2 s**ts and a shake of what goes on in Sidrock.

Yes , Heard they may be closing bargain caves. What does it matter if they do? How much revenue is generated from returned or leftover stock ? And if you ask me most of the bargain caves look like a garage sale with piles of stuff shoved in and laying all over. Reminded me of a Sears or Kmart.
3rd quarter some if not all Bargain Caves are to be eliminated - Hazelwood's will be gone, restructuring the store - FYI

Go back a few years and you will see that I heard a rumor that Bass Pro was going to buy Cabela's. There were dozen and dozen of posts who said they knew the Cabela's family and they would NEVER NEVRE NEVER sell. DId I say NEVER.

I am curious are you the person that heard the rumors Safeway, the two Mexican restaurants along the interstate, bass pro, Cabela's the bargain cave, the pizza place, Applebee's which have been posted on this site. No I haven't heard this rumor at all. I do know bass pro has been trying to hire a lot of employees at the Sidney distribution center
You have come on this site and basically spread negative rumors. however everyone I have talked to also think you pretend to be other posters to show your rumors are getting a lot of positive feedback. To you this isn't important to basically mislead people and the end result is for people who have devoted their lives at bass pro, Cabela's , Safeway . appebees , two Mexicans restaurants along the interstate have to worry about the negative rumors you spread are going to hurt their businesses.
