A 1.48 and debt downgrades for both win and unity it will be harder to get financing as they begin to outsource things overseas to stop the bleeding as execs circle the wagons and take last minute bonuses before the money is gone and collectors come calling. Stock is now rated 3.4, in between sell and strong sell. I’m worried for all of the employees, hope they arent screwed. If top level execs are replaced (and given their golden parachutes) with new execs with bankruptcy reorg or company sell out expertise head for the hills folks

I'm over a year removed as I was cut 01-23-2017. Met with my boss at 10, dropped off at my house around 11:30. Watched my new work truck tail lights disappear in the cul de sac!
Just saying this to say, they have no consistent policy.
Oh yes, all my jobs disappeared in ETA about 30 minutes before my invitation to meet. Knew something was up as two of them were option 11 tickets and I was primary pbx tech.

Where did the field techs get cut?Not sure about this post.Windstream has a lot going on positively sometimes you just gotta beleive.Lots of upgrades they have invested in.In my area they are putting up a bunch of poles and are going to do everything wireless and also adding a bunch of fiber.

Funny how execs are milking this company, they are initiating massive layoffs while giving themselves millions in bonuses and raises. Why buy Mass Comm? There is no network or anything of substance, you bought customers who will leave in the near future. You bought Broadview for the OfficeSuite product while that's just a bunch of old Dell servers that cost $50 a piece and looks like something 2 guys threw together in their basement. SD-WAN is a common technology among carriers, you bought a failing Earthlink for their SD-WAN and you are already trying to sell their network. Couldn't develop your own product because there is no talent left in the company. They just laid off a bunch of network and field techs today, I guess Windstream will continue to use sub par contractors for all their installs and troubleshooting. Huge outage, just wait a few days as we are flying in contractors lol. Its a house of cards at Windstream.....

So basically 2 weeks before EVERY earnings call we have had some kind of downsizing. I guess the posts in the past were correct.
ALL of the voice services NOC support will be outsourced by the end of the year. Closing another NOC doesn't surprise me at all
