Etica is a joke. Only a mechanism to vent and feel good, no real outcome.
If you have a valid complaint, use etica.ethicspoint.com. HR is suppoed to follow up, at least, that is claimed during various ethics training. God Bless ya'all.
Poor Chinese allowed not complain about layed off by rude Americans manager and derector
Many would agree. As previously noted by several posters, HR at VMware is not equipped nor empowered to handle conflict adequately. HR wants to restrict discussions by having posts deleted from here and glassdoor.com. They do monitor; posts are quickly purged.
Things will change:
A. When there is a well publicized lawsuit highlighting toxic and horrible work environment, contrary to EPIC2 , in EUC Desktop down from GM, to VPS, to directors to team managers.
Sad and humiliating repeat of Uber, an EUC neighbor on PAlo Alto campus, like situation is precipitated by poor HR and terrible senior, executive VPS. Then finger pointing will begin and some mid-level HR staff will get fired.
B. When more top talent begins to leave; has started happening. More likely to follow but this could be a strategy to move work off shore; making it cheaper than even H1-B that fill the halls
C. GM or VP gets fired for other reason
It's surprising to see so many complaint about certain EUC desktop execs in this website, however as one person working there, I can't agree more with those comment! It is a pity such horrible situation has not been addressed by HR internally ...
Hey!
What? Posts about Seanald Trrump purged?
Why? Prez's name causes immediate removal?
Great directors and senior directors are already jumping the sinking ship.
Everyone wants to leave now. LOLZ
Carl Icahn buys VMware stake; will block reverse merger with Dell.
His folks closely review company balance sheet and EUC would come up short on ROI during their investigation. Not good news for EUC folks in USA, EU & Beijing.
@SJZXXgB-ftl: Nice try. Most Indians, including myself, don't consider ourselves Asians. Regarding EUC desktop being run in to the ground by terrible self serving management -- whole heatedly agree. BU needs bitter medicine to fix the BU.
Sorry wrong analysis. I belong to neither ethnicity; If you worked in EUC you would know how terrible the leadership and culture has become. I am not against Indians just against lousy mobsters, aka EUC desktop Indian frat brats. VMware product & cloud top execs are Indians too, they are excellent, I have no isues with them.
I am not asian nor europian but looks like you have personal issues with indians.
EUC employees wouldn't have to worry too much about lay offs. Great directors and senior directors are already jumping the sinking ship.
Upper management is beginning to their realize their folly and will fold EUC products under SDDC BU and get rid of the Indian Frat Brats destroying excellent products.
Bull Sh-- about fewer layhoffs.
Stay away from jobs in Palo Alto, Seattle, Atlanta, Cambridge, Bloomington, London, Milton Keynes and Beijing that support EUC; majority will we be gone between July and January.
Most jobs in GSS, Docs, UI, performance, PGM, vSECR-related teams supporting EUC products beginning to move to India around June & July.
Dont get too comfy.
