I've asked over and over for examples of items that are sold at both stores to price compare and yet all those claiming over and over again that Kmart is more expensive refuse to give me a basket of goods to compare. Now, why do I think if I choose items, the first thing they'll do is say that I purposely chose items that I knew were cheaper at Kmart! The fact is that the lie that Kmart is more expensive has been repeated over and over again without challenge and when challenged, nobody has ever been able to provide any proof. Outside of pantry items, give me examples of how Kmart is more expensive. The fact is that Kmart is the deepest discounter of all

Kmart IS more expensive. Kmart is almost ALWAYS out of stock. Kmart is FILTHY.Kmart is a DUMP. Stop posting this crap when nobody cares. This is a SEARS board....and they too are always out of stock, filthy, and a dump.
There are better prices on consumables in the pantry sections in select Kmart store groupings than comparable items at Wally World and Target. Unfortunately not all items are available in all Kmart throughout the country. Add your Kmart coupons or points offers and Kmart has the advantage.
@ujc, but that is not the issue being debated. People were saying that Kmart wasn't cheaper and that's just not true. The truth always wins in the end.
I don't care if Kmart is giving them away, its a dump with piss-poor customer service.

Target may be a few pennies more but I'm willing to pay that to shop in a clean well lit store that has the products I want and I can check out fast, not have to wait in line because only one checkout is open and the person in front of me needs to figure out why their"free cash" isn't working! sorry but I don't have time for that, Target I'm in and out with quality products!
Why not ask this question on the Kmart board? You are more likely to find someone who gives a sh--.
@kpd, yes I agree and Sears Holdings needs to properly advertise their price advantage. The issue is that's not what people are saying, they're saying that Kmart is more expensive which is not true.
The thing is, no matter the facts, if people THINK that Walmart/Target is cheaper or comparable...and they KNOW they'll have a nicer shopping exerience at those stores, well, that's where they'll be shopping.
