Never understood why people stay so long in the North Wales office. I admit the scenery is nice but the wages are shocking and Robertson has lost its reputation it once had. I survived two years before moving on for nearly double the salary!

Another few resignations up in North Wales over the past couple of weeks (more than 1 a month now). Suspect that after the annual GPIPs are paid out at end-March there will be a whole load more.
I can't speak for the crap pay, but isn't the North Wales office situated in a town inside of an old medieval castle? That in and of itself would be a reason for me to want to work there.

CGG Human Resources has a strict rule not to rehire anybody who was let go. You'll have to wait until they're removed.

This does not apply to North Wales. They recruit back someone who went voluntarily.
Hmm, not the case up in the North Wales sites. I've seen lots of staff who have been made redundant then considered for a lucrative return owing to the subsequent waves of resignations leaving some of specialist technical departments badly under staffed. That said, finding somebody who actually wants to work for them, live in North Wales on crap money and isn't totally incompetent (a relative term) must be like finding a flying pig.
