RS sent a mail freezing the salary in GE Power.
In a recent video sent by JF he says employees are always at the centre of the company ahead of customers and share holders. My question to him is if the revenues and profit/loss of businesses are sumned up to give dividends to share holders for "GE Company", why is the salary of one business frozen alone? Its nit employees who have resulted in this mess in Power and "GE" as a whole? Why punish employees from one business alone?

It will only get worse, soon my pension will be gone along with my dedication to this heartless back stabbing company. Other posts in here said job market is booming I totally agree. I’m will be returning phone calls and emails to potential new employers. Hopefully they can provide some job security, one of the biggest companies in the world is in a world of dog doo.

A large walkout is probably what the execs want and expect...but without real value adding employees beneath them, they are NOTHING! Maybe they haven't realized that until now!!
Get out there and get a better deal...A lot of people really deserve this and certainly do not deserve to be mistreated and neglected (so that execs still get their fat little bonus) and yet remain focused and motivated to deliver on all those "realistic" targets that the execs promise to the market (of course the market is smarter than them and no investor in now buying the same old bull***t !!!).

#MeToo. I won't stick around for another year without a pay raise. They took all bonuses away as well. Top performers now receive the same rewards as losers milking the company: Nothing. They have successfully taken away all incentive to do a good job. Morale is now an all time low. The job market outside is BOOMING. Your leverage right now to find a more rewarding job is at an all time high. Leave now and get a new job while having GE on your resume may still be seen as a good thing!

Fact is folks, GE power management has thrown you under the bus. JF wants to be mad at power management but they've successfully circled the wagons, defended each other and laid the blame on the IC's. Everyone hates the IC's.
Started looking for a new position 1 week ago, have received verbal offer making 30% at a much better company. Sad day when a person works hard, dont get rewarded but the executives do and in order to provide for your family you have to switch jobs.
As others here have said, get out now while the economy is taking off. The stress and toxic environment at GE are not worth it.
Any recovery will be on the backs of employees. Those that our loyal will not be rewarded only select few execs. and various s__kups. Don't just stew about you situation for your own good take a look at opportunities at other companies while job market is good.
I am leaving the company. 1 raise in 4 years with no guarantee there won't be another salary freeze next year. I take with me a ton of knowledge and there is nobody in the pipeline to replace me. Countless times I have saved this company millions of dollars. No more. They broke my extreme dedication to the company. Good luck to all of you.
