The top 10% are making to much and he was asked to redo the comp which he is unhappy about

Mark my words , this company will start to incur a lose. They have cut so much that all the experienced employees have jumped ship and what is left are the young employees (not all) who don’t care about
Quality.
So what happens is everything starts to fail.
I give it 3 years till this company is up for sale......by that time it will take years to fix the mess they created.
The top level management are nothing more than pencil pushers who don’t know what a hard days work is ....they only know how to read reports.

Depends on which department you are talking about.
For direct sales you will never see a layoff
They just keep raising the bar so you have to make more sales to make what you were making before. Remember the company is looking to cut almost a billion in expenses....
Altice is destroying this company and to make it worse the Altice one box came out way to early, so many issues, so what we will see in six months is back to when Cablevision had the scientific Atlantic boxes (to many issues) and customers bailed to fios. They should

The Direct Sales Department has had more changes in the last few months that would make your head spin. You have to feel bad for the newest reps that drown with all the new changes that keep coming and coming and coming.
I don’t think the upper Managment is happy with what ever changes Dan makes.
He comes from Cablevision and Altice upper management does not like the Cablevision
Comp plan in any way shape or form. I’m sure they keep telling him to keep sharpening his pencil. Altice won’t be happy till the top performers are gone, and the next wave of top performers are making 75k to 80k per year. Even when the commission tier was good they still couldn’t keep reps.
And now that the commission plan has been slashed the new reps see how impossible it is to make sales. And it shows when reps leave after a few weeks. This company will
see how bad it gets when all the top reps find other employment and Altice is left with
third party temps and sales take a dive south. Makes you think that Cablevision knew somthing about Direct Sales.
No need to lay off Direct Sales. They just simply cut the commission plan and any perks that go with the job. The Direct Sales position will dwindle down to a handful and merged with other offices.
Everyday the dept loses sales to the WEB where customers go on line and lock in their contact information, now what happens is the web department locks in that information and has outbound call them
and you the rep that was assigned that lead can’t sell them because that address made contact on line even if they used bogus information on the contact form. It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to see that Direct Sales will be reduced to young 20 year olds making 50k a year to fill these jobs. It’s a no brainer. Plus the way you are spoken to in meetings now it’s apparent that you are treated like a high school kid.

I think the message here is that no one is safe now.
This can't effect Inbound Sales, not with the high call volume, or could it?

Which sales dept?. Or all in general..The comission structure was just changed this year and we have no clue on how we getting paid .
These why I didn't want to be part of the proyect... I knew it was a trick to let go of you, I'm surprise it has lasted these long without laying them off.

Layoffs nothing new. Boss needs to upgrade his new home.
They just laid off 6 or more fiber pullers this past Friday in nyack. Guess they found some contractors to do it. This company is based off cheap cheap cheap. Frenchy could care less about us Americans. Everyone in this place needs to stop drinking the kool aid, it’s full of sh-- and lies. Do not buy into there propaganda b---s---!
