Cruel joke? No, harsh reality. I’m sure some very special people will be given nice five figure bonuses. Too difficult and too expensive for the clipper ship to be generous. Hey now get back to work you slouch!
@R9MrYtU-gbp Yes, I agree that State Street employee's were valued more in the past. I have seen many of my peers and co-workers laid off over the many years that I have worked for State Street.
Many of us are surprised that we still have a job and also know of many of my former peers that were displaced or forced to work in a different department. Of course, depending on their age most of them chose to leave State Street. Isn't that what they want to happen anyway ?

Pretty sad when I see Retail and Fast food places have a higher ranking than State Street .

Interesting they had a list of 50 companies sharing the wealth with the workers.
Retail stores, High tech and Financial businesses.
And yup State Street was not on the list on those sharing the wealth

Yes the old glory days of when workers were valued by State Street ended around 2003.
Then the great clipper ship sailed into an ice field and decided to survive by laying off
a few hundred employees ever year , year after year.
The bosses never use the term slouch, they used the phrase " Be grateful you still have a job"
