Anyone else on severance pay being told there check was being mailed to them ?

On VRP and received check today in mail.
No explanation of why a check and not a direct deposit.
Also Federal and State taxes withheld are considerably less than previous payments.
Not sure what is going on.

Somebody needs to call the labor dept, irs, lawyers, the media, etc. This company is constantly messing up peoples lives and they need to be held accountable
Just received e-mail posted 7:24 PM from Altice explaining SNAFU. They say a paper check is in the mail, mailed Friday. Strange, still nothing on ADP.
Yes, a lump sum would have been much better, especially since if that money were invested when I left it would have been worth about 15% more now.
Could not get through. Left message but no call back from HR "service" center. No direct deposit. Nothing on ADP.
People still working can't even get a paycheck
VRP's should have received our payments in one lump sum. This would have been avoided. Anyone out there in agreement.
Same here, got the letter stating payday on the 5th, nothing.
Received letter stating I would be paid on 1/5. On 1/5 no pay. ADP says no pay since 12/21. Spent 95 minutes on hold on HR Hotline with no one picking up. Call Bethpage Altice receptionist: they said employees received a letter saying they would be paid by COB on 1/5.
Well, now it is 1/6 and still no pay.

What # did you call? I'm on VRP, no check deposited today and no communication that there wouldn't be a normal direct deposit
