Thread regarding State Street Corp. layoffs

Stealthy layoffs at State Street

They do the layoffs in a very stealth manner of laying off maybe 1 to 2 people in various sections.

Hoping nobody will notice how 1,2 or 3 people have vanished.

Usually the worker's network is busy calling friends in other depts to see if anyone got laid off.

Some area's may only lose 1 person maybe 2, others may lose 2 to 3 people but like I said, its done is small layoffs to avoid detection

This is so true. This is done to avoid both WARN and bad publicity, and State Street has mastered the process. This is why we rarely hear about layoffs, but constantly see fewer people around. Nobody is safe, ever.

Just fixing the typical Apple corrections that happen after I’ve typed thanks Apple for making my point less salient

They aren’t pulling the wool over ppls eyes. All the ejected officials they see know and the truth is they don’t give a damn. As long as it happens silently on their watch and doesn’t make the paper or news reports to them it’s not happening. Perception is reality. It’s only real to us because it’s galoening or about to happen. That’s why I let it out years ago. It’s old news nothing to see here folks. But we live under the constant wait watch and fear of 7000!

I don’t know when new ceo comes on board. But it will be the same old playbook and game plan and quite possibly. Worst. You know one more platinum parachute to plam and pay for...

Well I can bet that with the tax cut it will just be another excuse for STT not give out raises. They are miserly. I wish karma would bite them but not seeing it. They just seem to prosper and be so connected that they go from one high salary role to the next.

So true and why do you think State Street donates a few million each year to various Social causes.

To help build up its phony facade of being a company which cares for people.

Aka as long as they are not the employee's

Public Relations is very important to State Street and they been pulling the wool over the public eyes

for years

@QTXoPcC-2ldi I do believe in karma and really hope that many who have hurt me in my past will get what they deserve some day. I try to be an optimistic person even though I have nothing to be optimistic about. The happiest friends that I have are self-employed. As an older worker I do believe that I may pursue another avenue of employment such as real estate, insurance, etc.

Of course these are also very risky endeavors.

I wish there really was a God or karma. But every day when I see how vicious the left is about regular people getting a tax cut and how they spin it to look sinister, I am reminded we are just carbon based lifeforms hurtling through space on a rock. Harsh but true
