I have been hearing rumors among my coworkers and I have seen somebody post on this board as well that the next round of layoffs could happen on November 7. I am not sure where that specific date came from, so I was wondering if anybody knew more about this?

Hi. Visiting from Seagate page, where we also have rumours of upcoming layoffs. When will we ever see this bi annual RIF cycle end!? It's so unfortunate. Thought are with you guys over there.
So...any bets on whether we'll hear a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth tomorrow? :-)
Every Sep-Oct and every Feb-March of every year, employees are asking when is the next round of layoffs? Hope there are no more.
