Let me be the first one to start with a discussion on 2018 layoffs at Microsoft.
What are your thoughts? What groups will be the most affected (I think the general consensus is that Sales in non-cloud areas will hemorrhage quite a bit) and what locations may have folks on the chopping block in 2018.

anything related to hardware / device : Hololens is a dog, take it out and shoot it. Anything left in phone to axe ? Does Xbox really help bottom line.
sounds like devdiv outside of azure is spinning its wheels. No one wants to use VS for anything, let alone splat or web dev. Azure will embrace all tools and endpoints
if AWS can support most of AMZ you got,to hope that azure can do the same for Msft. It's not clear what else can !
