Hi everyone. I am wondering the base salary range of grade 9 engineers. Also the annual gross income? It would be great if you could share where you are at. Thanks.

In Oregon it's about $240K for total comp
G9 should be in the 250k range TComp. I’m on the mid-upper range of G8 and am at 200k TComp in OR, for reference. Software engineer job role...
According to the Pay Modeling App on Circuit, the mid/mid/max base pay for a grade 9 is $119,400/$161,300/$203,260. You should expect APB, QPB and RSUs to add another $60K+ per year if you are near the mid-range base pay.
@1qee - You should have been more specific. TCOMP includes everything, not just cash. G8 merely called you out on what appeared to be a lower end value. The only c---y one here is you, with promo records and other intimate details.
Don't get c---y grade 8. That is 195K Total Cash compensation. Profit sharing would add an additional 9k which was not included. 203k also not including RSU Grants. Grade 9.
Grade 8 multipliers may be higher in some cases if you are at a higher band as base is much less.
what is OP?
Hi. I am OP. I am not HR. Thank you for sharing. I guess average salary raise is 3% for grade 9?
169k base but only 195k total comp makes no sense, especially at G9, as that's only 26k worth of EB / EBP. At G8 my bonus was way higher than that. Either your multiplier is very low or you are making this up.
Sound about right I was hired as a grade 8 at Intel with 7 years experience and a BS in Mechanical Engineering form UW base 125K TKOMP 138K. after 4 years with Successful, two Exceeds and one Outstanding promoted to a grade 9 152k base. Now at 169k base after 4 years as a 9 tougher group 3 successful one Exceed. TKOMP 195K. Sr Program Manager. Here in Portland, OR. In US dollars. Intel is a great company but very political beyond grade8 8.
If this were some HR guy from the competition, they would be smart enough to state which country and site they are referring to. But OP is obviously a dumb--s.
These are US numbers.
Grade 9 Base of 135-185K plus 10-40 k bonus and ESB, exclusive of stock grants Total cash comp median 190K. Grade 10 190K-250K base.
There is considerable overlap between grades about 30-40%. Tier 4/3 to Tier 1 and 2 should tell you the range
There was a solicitation for Principal Engineer salary a couple of days ago, and now for Grade 9. I suspect someone in HR department from competition is fishing for data.
OP - why is Glassdoor not adequate?
