Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

Next round of layoffs?

I've been hearing rumors that something is afoot again at HPE, and I can't find any concrete info on it anywhere. I was wondering if anybody here knew if we should be expecting another round of layoffs this year? I am talking something more substantial (unfortunately, we are all used to small sporadic nearly weekly cuts by now,) like what happened a few months ago. Any info would be appreciated.

i dunno where they could find more fat to cut, around here there's already too few bodies to get the work done and it's hurting our ability to deliver and our win rate.

HI,

The person who posted the following about layoffs:

"HPE = 18% WFR in FY18. That's November 1st, 2017 through October 31st, 2018, in case you're new to the mess. Good Luck to All!"

Can I ask where you got this information from or is this just a guess?

thanks,

Depends on if one factors in another company aquiring HPE. I think we are cut to the bone currently. Not sure we could carry on day to day operations effectively if there were too many more deep cuts barring the first statement.
