@OcWAMQc-heu - respectfully I must disagree. What you and I probably feel are liberal ideas and values are now considered centrist or even libertarian and in that still have a spectrum. Neo-liberalism/ progressivism is indeed a bucket - not so much "one size fits all" but "you had better believe what I believe and fit into my bucket or else" - Identity politics really has gotten out of hand and IMO has already passed the point of being counterproductive. Working with college students and living in a extremely liberal area - things are very different than they used to be even just a few years ago - things have a very "khmer rouge" vibe now...

@vkj by that logic, national enquirer, infowars and daily mail are the epitome of journalism. Granted that this board has had some relevant post, but it is often overcast by slurry of xenophobic rants. Solution would be to have community driven moderation. I second the reddit move @wsu
@dbn, liberalism is not a bucket, its a spectrum, there are a$$holes on either end but that's what they are .... outliers.

Don't agree with you, @ewl. Better user experience ussually means more traffic, so I do think it is in their best interest to keep this place clean.
I've been checking this board for 2 years now. Since then, I read plenty of relevant posts here, and seen predictions and leaks that turned out to be true. Sure, there are few resident trolls here, but all their posts get nuked anyways.
The mods are not there for cleaning up the board for a better user experience.
They just delete indiscriminately to cover their asses in case of a lawsuit.
