This seems to match rumors of layoffs at the end of January '18. What is your take?

Agree. Micron will never acquire Seagate. There is zero motivation to do so...
Micron will never squander its money by buying Seagate. That's the dream of a drowning man thinking he sees a life preserver being thrown to him.
HAMR will never see light. It's just used to make us look valuable when we get acquired by Micron

I would expect the axe to fall end of September for general rif. You saw the slide saying our op ex is 17% and they want it down to 13 to 15%. Any organizational shifts like CSsG/Dot Hill or facilities closing will be later if needed.
Mosely hates having so many employees. We're ungrateful leeches that perform worse year after year. Only the executives brilliance keeps us afloat. Don't worry though. HAMR is coming.
