How has his last layoff been so hidden? My support was laid off and I'm inundated with crap and have no one to help! Last Monday was brutal here in Plano and from my understanding everywhere. What's the verdict on fjnal #s? I can name 30 here alone

@O0SpwTV-eyv You're right! I have seen the hardest working let go and those with perceived "connections" but don't do sh*tget to stay.
@O0SpwTV-eyv I'm afraid to say because I'm afraid they'll track me down and lay me off next.
No I do not work for that group but I had a similar experience and was being facetious
As I, a contractor, complete tickets, it is clear to me that more than a few FTEs are not heeding your advice to work only 9-5 with no overtime. Eg, I just completed a request with less than 30 minutes to midnight, and I got a response from two full time stateside employees.
Clearly, there are some R&D full time employees who are working on more than a 9-5 schedule, on future product development. As an HPE stockholder (and previous full time employee), I find this heartwarming...
There were layoffs in Costa Rica i'm told...whole groups. And we know there were big layoffs in the CSC. Not sure of numbers though.
Tv-zky, without being presumptious, you must be part of Costa Rica team for HP? My first hand experience in dealing with the support call to resolve access issue, took me over a week to resolve.
Unfortunately, the so called "leadership" of this company is "blind" and they are clueless what offshore/nearshore SLA can or can't deliver. All they care is cheap labor - quantity over quality until it blows up in their face.
Yes, keep on preaching your services to management. It is the sweetest revenge we can witness!!
Hi PlanoMan77,
I’m sorry I can’t help with layoff details. All I have is some unsolicited advice…
Don’t stress out… Do NOT work overtime if salaried! Make them pay you for any overtime that you work! Don’t bust your behind for HPE management; they won’t appreciate it, has been my experience. If you DO work way hard, and succeed, they’ll just pile it higher and higher… “We want you to colonize the moon, and here’s your $15 budget. Now go to it!” And not give you a raise anyway (unless you are their favorite relative or buddy-o).
And absolutely, definitely, if they give you a bad performance review, do NOT go the extra mile, thinking that it will save your job! They have you marked for the next layoff, and there is NOTHING you can do about it! You could invent backwards time travel, anti-gravity, AND world peace, and they would STILL lay you off!
What group?
What levels?
Thanks.
The Costa Ricans wil help you with all that crap work
