Verizon ruined my life and s---ed my soul away where I almost started believing I was as worthless as they claimed in my 5 daily coachings. If your not slamming jp, hums and tablets to old people then you are worthless to them. daily brainwashing sessions to make sure your still drinking the big red juice. My manager even would pass out Kool aid juice pouches to the reps and ask us to make sure we were still on board and drinking their kool aide
2nd Q numbers were pretty good in April and May. We'll see what impact this T-Mobile promotion will have.
You can polish a turd all you want, but it's still a turd. I'm sure we'll hear about how great our Yahoo and AOL acquisitions are doing, as well as teasers about how much revenue 5G and GO90 and now over the top TV are going to bring, but the reality is that big red is burning cash quick and losing customers to lower price competition bacuse they treat their customers and employees as disposable.
I've worked with the company 10 years and it's true about moral compass. Unfortunately when I started I did some things that not all people would agree, but as I got older I found it hard to sleep at night. Now I'm not top rep in my store and I see them doing things they shouldn't but you can't tell anyone. Mangament is a joke they turn the cheek the other way as long as you can "bang out" you can't call HR because they will just tell your manager, then guess what you've been caught and they will just make your life hell. At this point I would like to get a severance and just be done with the company lol

@rlf...wow you sound unhinged. Take a chill pill and find a happy place in your life. I left the company and didn't sit there spending every moment bashing it. Take into account that there are hard working people at this company whether you agree or disagree with the execs. You no longer have a seat there so yes move on to better pastures instead of giving yourself a heart attack.

Life is short as you say. Don't cry for Verizon. Verizon is big and powerful, and our Government and media are corrupt. Verizon will be just fine.
And if they do somehow go under, it will be well-deserved since the leadership has no moral compass, and no truly innovative offerings anyway. They claim "better matters" but really all that matters is fleecing the public six ways from Sunday. Even Millennials can see that. Google Verizon in the news and read some of the articles out there. Read some of the comments. People know what is going on, even if the news won't report it.
Grow up man, it's just a job. That's just the way things are in this world of ours. You think the C-Suite really cares about what happens to us? What happens to the customer? To the country? Stop defending what is not defensible. Otherwise you may need to question your own mental status.
@vtj...your mental status must questionable if all you do is bad mouth a company you no longer work for. Apparently it was a good thing they let you go. Move on! And wishing ill will on the company is wishing ill will for the thousands that still work for the company. That is what most of you who bash the company do not get. You spend too much time on anger island that you cannot function and perform. Then when you get cut, you have the nerve to get more angry as it was obvious that you were not functioning at your true potential. Just move on and enjoy the next job. Nothing is permanent and live is just too short.
As a former employee I dedicate at least an hour a day telling everyone what a crappy company Verizon is and don't do business with them.
So if my efforts succeeded, they have definitely have a turd quarter.
Of course all T Mobile has to do is look at their balance sheet and see Verizon has zero cash flow and a giant pile of debt with the largest customer base to poach from. No wonder they are targeting them. I hope they succeed. I enjoy watching Verizon sink like the Titanic.
Real turd is a perfect phrase to describe Verizon. The toilet was flushed long ago. And the turd is just circling the porcelain bowel. The end is near. Maybe Verizon should rebrand again. If so stick with brown colors and a non-descript, elongated shape?
